After reading several of Dr. Jeremiah's prophecy books, I felt led to start a prophecy study group in my community. I was looking for the first study to be an overview. After reading What In The
World Is Going On, I knew this would be our first prophecy book study. This book is indeed outstanding and easy to comprehend. A definite second reading and scripture review is on my agenda.

Richard, you're right to be skeptical of anyone who predicts the timing of the Lord's coming, but the New Testament repeatedly tells God's people to be awake, alert, and ready. That day will not overtake us as a thief. It could be ten thousand more years before Jesus comes again or it could be tonight. Nobody's making specific predictions here - but the evidence is abundant that Peter and Paul lived with this "any moment now" expectation based on the circumstances surrounding them.

Jesus last words before His ascension were, "It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
I am always suspicious of preachers who claim to know the very "times and seasons" that the Lord said it was not theirs to know.

Hi, got to this site via a google search on the book. I liked your comment about Jesus coming back before you finish reading the book. I'm half way through it. I'm a
Christian but not a Biblical scholar. I already know that I'm going to have to read this book twice, next time in conjunction with the Bible references. I am quite a student of current affairs, though, and am astonished at how closely the prophecy fits with what is going on right now. I almost feel like God has directed me and others to read this book.

I agree totally. Never before in history have so many different factors come together at the same time that seem to resemble all that Scripture says about the last days. It makes me fairly excited to see what God does next!

I just got the book today, already halfway through it. Points out a lot of intresting things. Going to be very intresting next few years from a Christians point of view. Still have a lot of work ahead of us to win the lost.
Please recomend all good books, can not get them all but want to know anyway.
