Hi Brandon!

I'm a member of Casper Kiwanis (and the Major in charge of the local Salvation Army. The Balance of Blue theme seems perfect for Kiwanis use:

It's one of the few themes that plays well with The Events Calendar plug-in without any tweaking, a huge bonus as far as I'm concerned. My only concern is the 'depth=1' setting for pages. I think I remember a drop-down plug-in, or maybe the latest Word Press makes this work with drop downs.

I've downloaded theme and I've checkout the screenshot which looks pretty good. Thanks for the free WP theme. By the way I clicked on the the "view live demo" link and its stating that the link is dead.

Neil, just yesterday I had a conversation about this theme. I haven't updated it in a very long time, but am considering doing so now, but I'm afraid I'm so swamped with creative projects I'm not sure when I'll get the time. Bryan Resno is taking over a couple of my free themes and updating them, so either way, I'll post an update here as soon as I know something.

It's because of the "/" right before your url. So if the src="/ then it's going to insert your root domain there, so you wind up trying to call yourdomain.com/http://... Just remove that first slash from your source url and you'll be in business.

Hi there,

I love the theme! Thanks Brandon.

We used it for a website for a small start-up company based in Holland.

But we've run into a glitch. Their sales team uses iPad and iPhones... and it doesn't display properly on these devices. It works fine on Mac and IBM -- Firefox, IE and Safari, but on iPads and iPhones the columns are misaligned, and the logo repeats itself twice at the top. Interestingly, it looks fine on all of the iPhone/iPad simulators...

I'm not a web guru, but if anyone could give me a tip as to what to look for, I'd really appreciate it!

In the file style.css, you'll see a line that starts with "#navbar .topics"
and out to the right, a phrase that says "text-transform: uppercase;".
Delete that last phrase and you'll be good to go!

Hi, I have used this awesome theme in my website http://chonmagazine.com/ but then I found out that when I click on the title of the post, in this case "This s title", It will direct me to something like this

Brandon,

When I'm logged into Wordpress, a comments form will appear at the bottom of New Balance of Blue, but not when I'm logged out. What code can I use to not force readers to log in, and just have a Reply field, like you have here, at the end of Posts? I don't see any code for comments after posts.

Ah, now I realize when I type the h1 tag it doesn't show. What I meant was is there a way to make h1 titles dark blue.

Hi Brandon, you are so generous with your help, and I absolutely adore BoB... I've been looking at style css and trying to figure out if there is a way to change the font colour of titles to dark blue. I tried a few things but they didn't work :-)

Re ordering the widget list seems to have no effect.I have a text widget I want at the top but it's the article by category and recent posts widgets which refuse to move.Also I have the Google Friends Connect widget in a text widget.the widget frame is in the right place but the Connect image is down the bottom partly hidden by the footer.Help Please.

Thank you for this great theme! I've had Balance of Blue it up on my blog for three months and received numerous compliments.

I have a question, I haven't found a way to put in the "more tag".

I want to show only excerpts on my front page and link to the full texts. It this in the template somewhere, the dashboard or something? Or do I have to import it?
